Construction & The Cost of Broken Information

14:00–14:5050 min

Why are we still not building faster, cheaper, better?

Construction has never had better models, more data or more digital tools. Yet information is still re-entered, models become PDFs, decisions disappear between systems, and mistakes are discovered after they're built.

Where does the productivity - and the money - disappear?

We start by following the money through a construction project: where unclear decisions, duplicated information, late changes, fragmented responsibilities and poor handovers turn into real cost.

Then we move through a series of concrete cases from design and planning to construction, quality control and handover - each attacking one specific bottleneck and showing what changed when the workflow changed.

The final discussion asks how much waste can the industry remove by fixing the flow of information and decisions through the project?
