What happens when AI leaves the desk and starts working alongside the people on site?

The next wave of AI is moving into inspections, condition assessments and refurbishment projects. Voice, images, sensors and smartphones are turning what happens on site into structured, usable data while the work is being done.

In this session, we move beyond the AI hype and look at where technology is already creating value in practice: saving hours of manual work, improving the information we base decisions on, reducing uncertainty and helping projects move forward.

Through real cases from inspections, technical assessments and refurbishment, we explore a simple question:

Where does AI and better data actually create value for the people doing the work, and for the projects and buildings that depend on them?

    Faber Bygg & Wenn Property: From Site Inspection to Ready-to-Use Work Data

    We start off with the proof in practice: Wenn Property gives a live demo of their workable digital twin of Construction City. The AI-tool professionals use to gather talks, photographs, and measurements while the inspection is underway. Christer Berntsen, project leader at Faber Bygg, will present his new way of working, and show us how he saves days of work with each inspection.

    Autility x Aase Teknikk: What Changed on Our Condition Surveys

    Aase Teknikk uses Autility on condition assessments of technical installations. Bendik Holth at Aase Teknikk shares how they worked before, what they tested on real surveys and what has changed so far. André Keane at Autility, covers why good data captured on site matters for everything that comes after, including AI.

    Birdsview x Asplan Viak: What’s Inside the Concrete?

    A refurbishment project had stalled because no one knew what was hidden inside the structure.

    Birdsview and Asplan Viak took the scanners into the field. A few hours later, the uncertainty was gone, the project could move again, and significant cost was avoided.

    A concrete case of how better data can unlock stalled projects, reduce risk and make refurbishment faster and cheaper.
